Always Somebody's Baby

My friends A.J, and Jason run a production company together and make wonderful films. Tonight is the screening of Always Somebody's Baby.

When: Saturday, October 17, 2009, 6:30pm - 9:00pm
Where: The Fridge DC (a new art gallery and performance space near Eastern Market metro)
Address: Rear Alley, 516 8th St SE (Across the street from Matchbox), Washington, DC

Join us for the BIG premiere screening of "Always Somebody's Baby," the second in a series of short documentary films by Jason Orfanon and AJ Wilhelm that look at life, love and the little things that connect us all. The film follows Sandy, a DC-area mom who has had to overcome inexperience and illness in her journey to raise a family. It will screen with “The Steps,” the first short documentary in the series that follows a single guy’s trip to his favorite break-up spot. Both films were edited by Jennifer Quilo.

The filmmakers will be on hand for a Q&A following the film. The evening will also include a live performance by the film’s composer/local rocker Olivia Mancini (Olivia Mancini and The Mates, Washington Social Club) with special guests.

Admission is *FREE*, and there will be art, live music, great people, and a cash bar. This event is open to EVERYONE, so please invite friends and spread the word.
