Kevin “JAZI” Irvin teaches stencils at the Albus Cavus Classrooms

I am so excited about this weeks class at The Fridge by Albus Cavus by my good friend and amazing artist, Kevin “JAZI” Irvin, who was raised, lives and creates in the greater DC area. You can see his installation at Artomatic, Art Whino, Albus Cavus events and The Washington Children’s Hospital. He’s created commissions for major business like Red Bull and Adidas. Jazi is a versatile artist who has self-taught various techniques.

The workshop on Sunday, February 14, 2010 will be all about stencils. Jazi will share with you his secrets on what to cut the stencils in, how to transfer the images, how to cut and then apply the paint. The Fridge, 516 8th Street SE (rear alley), Washington, DC, in walking distance from Eastern Market Metro Station. Wear working clothes. All supplies provided. Fee $25. Be original and bring your Valentine to an art class!
