New VIDA board

New VIDA board that will be on show and for sale at the Pink Line Project show with me and Lisa Marie. Set for January, 24

This is the new lace background I have, inspired form my mother and my latest vacation home.

Lazy Day

It was rainy today, and I've been pretty sick so I decided to surf the web for a little while.

Found this sick piece on Disco Dans BLOG!

And then... the Louis Vuitton x Stephen Sprouse Graffiti Skateboard.
I LOVE things that come in boxes. This trunk is pretty rad.

Mingering Mike

I am so excited to be showing along side ALL the other artist listed in the Manifest Hope show. One person I'm really excited about is Mingering Mike. I've been a fan since the moment I heard the story. I am a huge fan of 'folk art' and can't wait to see Mingering Mike's Obama inspired piece.

Between 1968 and 1977 Mingering Mike recorded over fifty albums, managed thirty-five of his own record labels, and produced, directed and starred in nine of his own motion pictures. In 1972 alone he released fifteen LPs and over twenty singles, and his traveling revue played for sold out crowds the world over.

How is it that such a prolific musician has gone under the radar for the more than thirty years? The answer is that all took place in Mike's imagination, and in the vast collection of fake cardboard records and acapella home recordings that he made for himself as a teenager in Washington, D.C. in the late 1960s.

Revert To Plan B

Check out REVERT TO PLAN B to see more pics from new years eve.

There were OLD OLD OLD DECOY paintings on display. This was the rhino series.

OPENING night for Cory Oberndorfer at flash point

On our way there, we stopped and got a pic of a poster I had put up in China town.

Then off to the show!

I really like Cory's paintings too. I was able to see them while he was working on them at his studio. It was really neat to see them finished.

I think this was my favorite.

It was packed!

AMIGOS

This wall was awesome!

SUPER FUN NIGHT! CONGRATS CORY, you're show rocked!

The La Familia Series

At this historic moment in our country's history we welcome a new president and his family to our city.
As the direction of the country is changing, so is the definition of the American family.
In the series La Familia, DECOY illustrates this evolution with three diverse and unique family portraits.

La Familia-Blue

La Familia-Pink

La Familia-Gloden

La Familia- Golden will be on display at the Manifest Hope show in georgetown.
